Jajah, a VoIP service provider from Menlo Park, California, is showing incredible growth since launching in the US last week. Jajah announced on Wednesday that its web-activated telephony service will be available on mobile phones when next month rolls around. This claim is backed by the signing of exclusive agreements to integrate Jajah with Opera browsers and the Symbian OS.
“People are attracted to Jajah because it is easy to use, there are no downloads, and it is cheap,” said Jajah co-founder Roman Scharf. “If your tech-phobic grandmother can Google, she can Jajah.”
This ease-of-use system, along with the partnerships brings Jajah to 20 million Opera users and 60 million Symbian users. On top of that, Jajah will soon be integrated in a custom version of Opera Mini, giving it full a web-based browser for Java-enabled mobile phones.
