Vonage Canada has teamed up with Universal Music Canada to offer consumers free music downloads from Universal Music’s Website when they subscribe to Vonage VoIP service.
The retail promotion, which commenced March 1 and runs until the end of April, affords customers purchasing a Vonage Internet Phone Service Start-up Kit with 20 free music downloads from Universal Music. The online promotion will run until about mid-summer, and gives customers who sign-up for Vonage at www.vonage.ca/universal 20 music downloads as well.
“We are proud to be working with the preeminent name in Canadian music to bring our full-featured, flat-rate Internet phone service to music lovers across Canada,” commented Patti Jordan, Director of Marketing & Communications, Vonage Canada. “Whether it’s listening to an MP3 player or using Internet phone service, we live in a world where the Internet is making work and play easier. Our relationship with Universal brings us closer to our goal of making Internet phone service top of mind with tech savvy Canadians who want more choice and flexibility when it comes to their phone service.”
“Working with Vonage brings together two pioneers of their respective industries,” added Heidi Knobovitch, Vice President, Partnership Marketing & Special Markets, Universal Music Canada. “We have a strong track-record of teaming up with companies to promote their products and services, and feel our arrangement with Vonage is a natural fit that allows us to continue this tradition.”
