Skype and Netgear To Release Wi-Fi Handset
Skype is staying a step ahead once again with its new wireless handset from Netgear, which will let users make free online VoIP calls, as well as paid SkypeOut calls, from within a Wi-Fi hotspot.
The candybar handset will start selling at $249.99. It is also the first such device to recieve official Skype certification. It features a color display, and will come packaged with Skype software.
It is now available for pre-order through Skype’s online store, and Netgear’s retail partners.
